Not only do we just do interior work on your home, we can also do many things to the exterior! Decks are a great way to add value to your house, additional space, a great place to host people, parties and events, and it adds a great overall feature to your home! There are many different options when designing and building your deck that we can customize to your needs. Different stains, wood or composite materials, railings, size, adding a pergola, firepit or outdoor kitchen and lighting. Here are some of the previous deck projects we have completed! We love how this major kitchen renovation turned out! In less than four weeks Darren and I completed this project. We started off by taking out a wall between the existing kitchen and living room. Then came up with a completely different layout design for the cabinets, appliances, lighting and added an island. The customer wanted something updated, clean, modern and functional. -We went with white shaker style cabinets with a spacious pantry at the end. There is plentiful storage as well in the uppers, cabinets, drawers and island! -Stainless steel appliances, farmhouse sink, microwave and oven in the island, with a really cool and unique style oven hood that's actually located in the ceiling above it! -Strategically placed can lights to illuminate every aspect of the new space. -Refinished the existing hardwood floors to a medium stain. -Added beautiful granite counter tops and a grey glass subway tile backsplash. -We also installed thick crown molding to add an extra high end touch to it all. We love exceeding our customer's expectations and seeing our vision come to life and completed. If you're thinking of updating your kitchen, whether a complete renovation or something as simple as a new backsplash, we'd be happy to help you come up with something that will fit your budget and needs! A fireplace facelift is a great way to revamp your living room! Whether you're contemplating a full on renovation or an easier tile hearth upgrade, either way is a great option to transform such an important focal point in your home! Although it's the middle of summer installing heated floors in your home is a great way to add a touch of luxury into any room. We personally trust and love all of the Schluter Systems products, especially this Ditra Heat floor warming system. We guarantee your floors aren't susceptible to cracked tiles or grout, is completely waterproof, and it can be placed wherever heat is desired for customized heating zones!
There are number of ways to make your smaller bathroom appear bigger when you're considering a renovation. Here are a few tips to keep in mind! Shower -Take the tile in the shower up to the ceiling, it draws your eye up. -Use clear glass in your shower for the doors. Textured glass can make a space feel like it has an extra wall and it will be a visual barrier within the room. Walls -Try to match the wall paint with the tile to create a seamless appearance. If you keep everything in the same color pallet and same tones it won't visually break up the space. Lighter colors make the space feel brighter and larger. -Adding crown molding to the ceiling can add height and gives it an elegant touch. -Go big on the mirrors, or use multiple ones. Lighting -Lighting has a huge effect on how the room looks. Not enough of it will make the room feel cramped and small. Recessed lighting is a great option. -If you do have a window don't cover it up with a dark covering, use a translucent one. Storage: -Recess your shelving into the walls. Shampoo niches are so nice to have for storage. No more sitting your bottles on the sides of the tub! The purpose of a backsplash is to protect the wall behind the stove and sink from food, grease and water splatters, smoke and any other stains that can occur in the kitchen. It's a lot easier to just wipe it down as opposed to having to touch up the paint on the wall! Besides the functionality of it, a backsplash can have a big impact on the look and design of the entire kitchen. The most popular material for the job is tile. Because it is a relatively small space take a chance to splurge and be creative with it! There are a lot of options when it comes to flooring. Many people have hardwood or laminate in their kitchens but there are a couple of drawbacks to that. Something spilled and not wiped up as well as it should, a busted pipe, leaky dishwasher or refrigerator that can all warp your beautiful floors! If you really love the look of wood, there is an option of actual tile that looks exactly like it.
Linoleum and vinyl flooring are very popular in older homes. A drawback to this option is that it's a lot less durable than harder flooring materials. It can be easily cut and scratched from everyday wear and tear of life. In our opinion tile flooring is the best option for this area. It's waterproof, easy to clean and maintain, stain resistant and very durable. Today tile comes in a large variety of shapes, sizes, colors, patterns, textures and dimensions so you will definitely be able to find something that fits your style and budget! |
